Camps Under SSA

Government of India started Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan Project in 2000-01. The Universalization of the Elementary Education is the basic aims of this project. Education for children with Special needs is one of the important. Objective in S.S.A. children with special needs will be supported by Government in all the way.

Our Institute is implementing various activities / programmes of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan by contributing different activities in Pune and various District of Maharashtra.

1) SRG / DRG Membership:
The Director of trust is member of SRG M.P.S.P., Govt. of M.H., Mumbai & DRG (District Resource Group) Pune

2) Foundation Course on Education of Children with Disability:
Rehabilitation Council of India – New Delhi and Indira Gandhi National Open University – New Delhi conducts Foundation Course of 90 days in Distance Mode and on Line mode for teachers (in-service). Till date we have conducted 22 batches and trained 750 General Teachers from Maharashtra.

3) SUPPORTIVE SERVICES TO SCERT:
The Faculty of our institute involve in material development and Practical Manual for General teachers and Political Representative.

4) SHORT TERM TRRAINING PROGRAMME:
Institute conducts – 6 days / 3 days Short Term Training programme for In-service General Teachers on ‘Cross Disability’ – Inclusive Education. To improve the skill & competencies of General Teachers in SSA from various districts.

5) EXPERT SERVICES FOR ASSESSMENT OF HEARING LOSS AND PROVIDE NEED BASE SERVICES:
The Institute organized and participated expert camps to Assessment of Hearing Loss and to provide need base services to children with Hearing Impairment in various districts in Maharashtra. The details are –
