Ayodhya Charitable Trust’s Residential School for Deaf and Research Centre was started on 22nd July 200 by the founder member Late Dr. S.S. Bhutada. The major aim of the school is to provide educational and rehabilitation services to children with Deaf & Hard of Hearing. Our school is recognized by Commissioner Person with Disabilities, Govt. of Maharashtra Pune in 16.04.2001 with registration no. 0678.
Objectives of School:
Our main objective behind to start the school is to improve the Speech and Language of children with hearing impairment in early childhood age to integrate them in inclusive education system, so that these children should learn with normal hearing children in normal school so that they cannot feel isolated from the society.
Admission Criteria:
The admission criteria for children in school is a child having hearing loss of more than 60 dBHL in the better ear and age ranges from 0 to 06 years are eligible to get admission. Admission process starts every year from May to July.
